ICC Environmental Framework promoted in Rio

ICC hosted the Creativity 4 Innovation Forum on 13 June in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event, held on the sidelines of the United Nations Rio+20 conference on sustainable development, was open to the public and brought together a mix of speakers from senior corporate executives, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, government officials, media and other stakeholder groups.

Spring launch of the Code in Algeria

ICC launched the recently updated Consolidated ICC Code of Advertising and Marketing Communication Practice (French version) in Algeria at 6èmes Journées euro-maghrébines de la communication publicitaire conference on 23rd and 24th of April. Conference organizer RH International Communication and President of ICC Algeria Tewfik Ghersi facilitated the launch and the Code was presented and explained by ICC Marketing and Advertising Commissionmember Stéphane Martin, Directeur Général, Autorité de Régulation Professionnelle de la Publicité (ARPP), the French marketing and advertising self-regulatory organization.

ICC Code launch gives boost to self-regulation around the world

The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) launched its 9th revision of the Consolidated ICC Code of Advertising and Marketing Communication Practice (ICC Code) in September 2011. In conjunction with the release of the latest code a new one-stop online resource for self-regulation was unveiled. CodesCentre.com explains the global code and provides national and sectoral resources for advertising agencies, educators, marketers and regulators.
